Sleepless In Seattle [5]

[This is the first movie I write about that I haven’t seen before <3]

I love the Meg Ryan + Tom Hanks duo.  Always have and always will, to me they’re the perfect on screen couple. <3. This is an adorable, corny, silly, funny film. Starts off sad, Sam’s wife had just died and him and his son move away. His son, Jonah calls up a radio talk station and says that his father needs a new wife, Sam ends up talking on the radio and millions of women are listening to him. Annie (Meg Ryan) is one of those women, she’s recently engaged but she doesn’t feel the “magic” everyone’s going on about. She feels all these “signs” and is heavily drawn toward Sam, even though she’s never met him. She feels she’s going crazy and hopes its just cold feet. Goes to lengths to try and talk to Sam but it’s a real corny movie, so a lot happens.

There are a bunch of references to An Affair to Remember, Sam even refers to it as a chick flick, haha.

Anyways, poor Sam thinks he’ll never find love again, that he’ll never feel that magic he did with his wife D; We watch them go through a lot, it’s a really sweet and silly film but if you’re a romantic its worth a watch.
